Thanks LaurieA I appreciate the effort and this should be helpful to many that read this thread in the future, but the buttons within the VSS script seem a little different. I can, and have VSS in the mainButtons.py, just not the internal Synchronize and Designer buttons.

I also have a button in my mainButtons.py that brings up a menu that has buttons with common script makers, like Cage and Dimention3D etc. And to keep it all nice and clean subfolders in the python folder.
