My mother says 'Tims' but she speaks proper RP, like  Her Maj or Julie Andrews.  I'd say 'tems' on account of going to a school that was known as Twickenham Cowsheds.  Though I've noticed that living in the East Midlands for nearly 20 years has softened my vowels - or perhaps it's my age!
