Yep, this is what I always do with Poser.
It's been a while since I installed Poser but I think it will automatically install the 64 bit version and give you the option to install the 32 bit version too. That option is already checked but I unchecked it and haven't had any occasion when I've needed it. You may wish to install both if you have space on your new hard drive and then if you don't want it later you can uninstall it.
