We're all sending many thoughts of positivity & strength for her speedy recovery & healing.  Our health is such a precious & fragile gift that we so often take for granted.  I'm happy to hear that she is home & getting lots of VIP TLC :-)

She is finally home and recoverying here, so things look up. She had so many IVs that even the nurses commented on the amount of iv "bags" on her "tree. " For a few days she looked like a female version of Darth Vader: more machine than human :)

Anyway, she is finally home and with some care and rest she should be out of risk soon. Funny thing what a nasty bit of bacteria can do to ya. We eat well, mostly vegan, we exercise regularly so we try to be in the best shape we can, but if you catch a nasty bug it can actually cause a hole in your guts.
