I don't know what the problem with the chimney transparency was.  When it only has to look semi transparent, I can  usually just set with the transparency slider & it looks fine. This tiime I've had to fiddle around with it.  It was the base density, not fuzzy that I adjusted.  Don't know why I said fuzzy.. Guess I'll blame it on having to pay a visit to the dentist that day..
