Quote - Oh, come on, let's get real here. DAZ could make a V5 and M5 for Poser.

  1. Purchase a commercial/multi-workstation licensed version of Poser Pro 2012 (to me it seems that DAZ has not actually owned in house a version of Poser since Poser 6)

  2. Import the V5 or M5 morphed Genesis obj into Poser Pro 2012 and rig it with the weight mapping system and create Cr2.

  3. Add shaping morphs to both figures (likely to be bought as add-ons as they did for V4/M4

  4. Create a terribly simple SSS Poser shader for the base map probably using the wacro in the material room.

  5. Package for sale.

They could have done this months ago instead of trying so hard to get Poser users to switch over to DAZStudio just for the Genesis figure (no matter how versitile). If they do it, I'm not sure I'd even be interested unless the base figure (without morph packs) was free like they did when promoting V4/M4.

Stand alone figures is a dying market practice. Morphs for a single unimesh is a smarter move.
