I guess I'm trying to understand the market niche that Steph fills. I get the feeling that she is younger and more petite than Vickie. Perhaps Steph would be the model to use if you were going for a teen or pre-teen. A replacement for Laura maybe?
The niche is normal sized people. The average human female is around 5'5". If you put 100 randomly selected women in a large room, less than 10 of them would be V4's height (5'10" using the Poser 5/Daz Studio scale, 6'4" in the Poser 6 scale). See:

If all you are doing is images with a single character, it isn't a big deal. Start putting more people in a scene & it will look odd that everyone is the same height.
In addition, the SP mesh had a number of updates that were never backed into Vicky. Steph doesn't make a good preteen. She is past puberty, so one has to do a bit of work to the mesh (hips, breasts, head, etc.)
