They appear to be a mesh-and I also recall reading that they are a mesh on the SM site. So, yep. I probably will render close ups. See what you mean about clumpy mascara issues.

Quote - If  they ARE mesh, are there morphs to make them fatter? Look like clumpy mascara? Overlap some? Cause I don't see the advantage of mesh lashes :(. For me, it's just more mesh load with no actual benefit unless you're rendering the EYE right on top of it.
