V01f, you may be tired of alternate characters, but I certainly am not. 

Right now the only one that I own that doesn't get extensive use is Eroko (no WW support). 

 

On the other hand, she is a running joke in my storyboards .

(No Sir, Lt Eroko won't make the meeting, she's tied up right now.) :laugh:

 

There isn't a whole lot to say about Tyler & Miki 4 - we know when they are coming out and we only have a few pictures, in all honesty, how many "me too" posts do you feel is enough?

I like more individual characters.  I am not interested in 1 male & 1 female mesh.  I want lots of them.  All different with flaws and advantages - bending isn't a big issue with me because my characters keep their clothes on. 

The great thing about the Gen3 characters was that there were so many different ones (tall people, normal sized people, young people, kids, toons)  - throw in all of the neat alternate figures & it is easy to build a menagarie of people.

If I need a fat guy, I am not starting with M3 or M4 - I am starting with Rikishi.  He started out as a fat guy, so there is less work to make him the fat guy I am looking for.  An M3 or M4 quite frankly is too much work to turn into a believeable fat guy.  

 

As far as clothing content - yeah, I know Xdresser & WW aren't perfect, but I find it very difficult to believe that I am the only person that gets reasonably good results (a 90% solution) with them.  I could take the "it isn't perfect" complaints more seriously if the people complaining are experts on all other Poser subsystems - like lighting, render settings etc.

 

With respect to  "G in Poser" - We have had a year without DAZ - who cares anymore?  With the execption of some of the monsters, the characters are simply variations of what has gone before, much like the clothing that has arrived for genesis.  Been there, bought that.
