That's not necessarily true - screwing up the clothes converting to dynamic. 

First of all, convert a COPY, not the original.

Second, it depends on how the clothing is constructed whether or not it will convert at all.  There are several methods for creating conforming clothing which are good practice for conforming clothing, but lousy practice for dynamics.  Remember, a product created for conforming use simply may not be capable of dynamic conversion, and that has nothing to do with the creator.  It's about using something for a method not intended.

You simply need to find the instructions for creating dynamic clothing (there are lots of tutorials on Rendo) and see if you can convert what you have.

In addition, I'm not sure a piece of conforming clothing NOT built to adjust like you want it to will solve the problem.  If it's not fitting as conforming, it doubt a dynamic conversion will do anything to help.
