Hey - I'm just back from a business trip. Thanks for the purchase!

I confess I did not try sim'ing the sheet or comforter myself. (I have little patience for that) So - this is news to me.

Tom did the built-in sims in 3DS Max (The comforter and sheets in various configurations that are "body parts"). Of course, those are only useful for nobody/nothing under them. I'm not sure that Poser can sim the comforter in that "poofy" way Tom did that gives the impression of volume.

Then he supplied the additional sheet and comforter props so you can sim those yourself, with the intention that you would hide the built-in ones and not include them in the collision calculations. I am pretty sure they can be sim'ed with 3DS Max, since I think he started with the same props. How well they sim in Poser is unknown to me.

I am just now trying the sheet myself, using default cloth sim values.

I also got lumps in the middle. Seems to me the friction is too high and preserves the peaks that form, not letting the cloth slide flat. But my sides did go down - only 30 frames here so they didn't finish settling. I suspect the default cloth parameters are also too stiff. And maybe not enough weight. And too much air resistance.

Poser cloth is "difficult". But then, so are materials. grin

We may have to do some experimenting with settings.

As I said, I just got home, and need to do some things first, but I'll see what I can come up with. I'll be back.

We could probably use aRtBee's expertise on this. He's done a lot of cloth sim analysis.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
