Sharky, I have decimator installed in my plug-ins list, just not sure where it is in studio  :-)  I found the Level of Detail thing, but it was a wash. I'd hoped it would make studio more responsive with lots of characters in a scene, but all it does it make boobs square. 

BTW, I'm betting your computer had a windows update, as mine was frozen when I came to check it this morning too. Damn!! Just restarted when I went to pay those lovely bills....
