At 1.5 kspp you are past what I usually render to, but with the reflective surface you may need quite a bit more. Only you can decide when it is "finished" .

Also, I didn't notice but as Bobvan pointed out you are using a kinda old version of Luxrender. Version 1.0RC4 is out on the luxrender download page now (aha you snuck a post in while I was typing! sneaky)
