Don't have the funds now.. but had planned on grabbing one or two when student loans come in on 10/5.  You'll be 1/8th of the way there.  I'm more of a fantasy/sci-fi kinda guy; but, my boy would probably really get into 'em.  He basically likes anything where lots of shit dies and/or gets blown up.

They all have a lot of sci-fi elements as that is my favorite area to explore (everything is plausable!), but you'll both have some enjoyable reading, as lots of baddies and such get blown up and/or dispatched in creative sci-fi fashion. In a nutshell, the whole series has elements that anyone into Indiana Jones, Fringe, MacGyver and cinematic action sequences would enjoy.  If you're interested, the first one is still free, and I'll be putting it up on the website for direct download momentarily.
