not at all. 

losing some of the base Ryan morphs was pretty much a given since he was entirely resculpted from head to toe. 

any base Ryan morphs that still work with Tyler should be looked at as a 'bonus' -- not the other way around (ie: that any that dont work are a 'flaw' with Tyler).

YMMV when using him with base Ryan FBMs. some work great, some not so much.
