I don't remember if it works with DS3 but you can enable the surface select tool in Studio and then call Reality. Once you click on the Reality material the Studio material should appear select in the Surface tab. In DS4 it actually highlights the material in the viewport.

Anywa, don't spend more time with the those materials, I will post a more descriptiove file shortly.
