Quote - mbin.. i am too.. since she's been so patient with all of my computer shenanigans.. think i might give the wife first crack at it though.  she's been dying to do some big, involved scenes and every time she tries.. on her computer she gets like 2 or 3/k s/s.. gets frustrated at only having a hundred passes or so after a full day and just goes on to something more simple.  she's got a ton of saved scenes that i'd like to see fully rendered.  so now, instead of it taking weeks to render them.. it'll only take a few hours.

 

I wish my wife was like that.  I can't upgrade my system yet, since we have other things that take priority (food, rent, electricity, diapers).  Fortunately, my borther in law is planning on upgrading his system soon, so he'll send my his old parts.  Should be an I7 and maybe 8GB RAM.  I'll need a new Mobo myself when that happens.
