If it helps I had to buy a good microphone for video tutorials.  Initially I bought one that was too sensetive (Samson Meteor), but then I got a Yeti Blue which is awesome for that kind of thing.

You can set the recording capsule directly on the mic, as well as the gain.  All you get is my voice now :)  Including some ums and ahs, for some reason people seem to like them, shows I'm human or at least organic :)

They aren't cheap I'm afraid but they do save a lot of post processing time :)
