I have been doing a lot of experiementing since June on DAZ and integrating DAZ figures into Vue. I have been keeping notes which I keep updating as a WIP: http://www.perpetualvisions.com/new-articles/notes-daz-poser-vue/notes-daz-poser-vue.html

A major part of my experimentation involves creating OBJ's from my DAZ figures and seeing if I could get really good renders from them. Up until now I have had to make a lot of changes and/or use SkinVue as well. I decided to use Syyd Raven's (http://www.runtimedna.com) Oxygen and Infuse maps. The first time, I used a combination at random, I did have to make changes in Vue. Then, by accident I used a combination that gave me a great render in Vue by itself. I couldn't remember it exactly, but I sort of did so today I tried to recreate it. I did. This tells me that I can use different combination. This one I described in my WIP rendered in Vue beautifully as well as in DAZ. Normally that is not the case. A good DAZ render does not mean a good Vue render.

Wow! Thank you for this detailed info on how to get Vue/Studio to play well together :) The bad renders in Vue have always put me off playing too much with Studio but having read your WIP, I will be firing up Studio again soon. Thanks :)
