Quote - One day back in the mid-1980's, about 8 years after my Mom had died, I got a phone call from "Mrs."  My Mom was "Mrs", I am "Miss" or "Ms."  So the first thing that popped out of my mouth was "Oh, I'm sorry! She's dead!"  The person on the other end was so flustered, that after stammering an apology abruptly hung up!  LOL

Now when I get a call for the "Lady" of the house, I just tell them that they are dead.  That ends the call pretty quickly.

Someone called my grandmother and asked for my grandfather more than 10 years after he died. When they asked to speak with him, my grandmother (and I am NOT exaggerating) said "Hold on while I go dig him up"
