You need the companion poser files to use the Genesis Baby. You can either create them yourself in DS or wait for the vendor to release them.

Here's a pic with Basic Child and Hitomi at .5 - its great that we have new kids in Poser that can fit in most clothing items (using discretion of course, some outfits are just not meant for kids).
