This is not necessarily criticism, but isn't Renderosity about sharing and learning together much more than about what others think of you or about doing a "promo" for a tip? I don't understand why giving a technique, then showing examples of the same scene rendered in the "old way" and the "new way" side by side for comparison isn't a good idea. Of course you can do what you want with your tips... I wouldn't expect that any single tip will turn the 3D world on edge, but I guess we'll see.
