I did have some problems on my older (now dead) machine with SLI but thatwas a long time back and SLI was new, some scenes wouldn't render on it

Out of curiosity, what do you have selected for your Geometry Format in the output tab?

I tried all three on the same scene, no change. I kinda lost track of what was supposed to be the default though! Oops
