I don't know what Vue Version you have. But Vue10.5 and 11 has Poser SDK from May2012. There is a continuous development and progress. I did not have any issue import any poser figure from PoserPro2012 SR3.1.
Vue11 crashes on my Win7 64 sometimes I use particles; but its pre-release....
I purchased maintenance plan for a new full year for $195. I love my Vue with all its little problems :)
