I can give you a pretty fair answer because I tried both. I started with the DAZ store for about 18 months and then I moved to Renderosity in May of this year.

My personal experience has been that the support at Renderosity is vastly superior to what I experienced at DAZ. You get also more means of promoting your products here at Renderosity. There is almost no mean of promotion at DAZ beyond what DAZ decides to put on their newsletter. No banner to buy, ni other options.

The responsiveness at Renderosity is vastly superior. Also, their Vendor Control Room allows you to start sales and control several aspects of your products that were not even existing in the DAZ store when I was there.

Lastly, the DAZ website has been very unreliable since mid of May and they still have noticeable problems. Their shopping cart software is quite buggy and vendors have suffered quite a bit. 

So, my advice is to try Renderosity first.
