##### I played last night with a little gem in Vue 11 that I have not seen mentioned much, but that I find incredibly useful: Global Layers. Basically you can assign a layer in a material as global and then add it to any other material. Once added editing any parameter of the global layer will be applied to all material that share the layer. Think about mud, snow, dirt on buildings, moss on rocks, dirt, blood, sweat on figures with many textures. This is great time saver. You can have many independent global layers and the scale, alphaboost and environment effects stay individually adjustable. Here is a simple example: Several spheres with different textures, all share a global snow layer. I changed the color map in one and presto, the snow on all turned to moss...
