Quote - Reality for DAZ had their own lights.  There were separate light sets sold for Reality, but it doesn't utilize any of your existing Poser lights.  You can add them to your scene, but Reality for DAZ simply replaced each light as a distant light.

This is not entirely exact.

Reality for Studio uses all the lights of Studio, except for the UberEnvironment stuff. Spots, Point lights, and Distant lights are all recognized and used. In addition Reality has its own Mesh light, which is used to model real-world lights, and its own IBL, which is much more sophisticated than Studio's built-in IBL.

Reality does not, in any circumstance, replace a Studio light with a distant light. In fact I suggested many time to avoid distant lights at all costs. The only exception is the Sun, which is a special case. The Sun is a Distant Light that is named "Sun" and that it is used to model a real, physical sun with atmosphere.

Hope this helps.
