Lately I've been bemoaning the fact that I haven't been inspired to create any new artwork. I wish to God it were still true.

Oh, Doc... it's your best yet, IMO... but what a disaster to spark this, I agree with you! You captured it perfectly! Heike (Garibaldi's Cat)

There have been threads about this on all sorts of email groups where it would normally have been off-topic. Someone on a Yahoo email group pointed out this it is an anniversary of the Camp David peace agreement between Israel and Egypt. Those extremist groups must be stopped, wherever we must send me to stop it.

That is incredibly deep and beautiful. Wonderful work for such a tragic situation.

The Camp David Peace Accord was signed September 17th 1978, not the 11th. It is the anniversary of a battle George Washington lost in 1777 near Philadelphia but that's unlikely. Apparently this forum is entirely populated by Gentiles; the Jewish High Holy Days are about to start this week and more than once Israel has been threatened with attack at this time to demoralize them. It wouldn't be unbelievable to take out the hostility on Israel's most active fiscal and military supporter.

This is a very powerful image and it brought tears to my eyes. Like most Americans, I am still deeply in shock. Not only am I saddened by the events and how it had affected the families and friends involved, but I am sadden to know that the world as I know it will never be the same again.

This artwork of your stirs emotions from deep within my soul. Sorrow, for the destruction; pain; loss of life, slowly simmering, brewing, boiling into a rage of anger, erupting unconfined uncontrolled into a blazing fury of revenge. May our leaders have the strength and patience and wisdom to exact revenge without putting into motion the chain of events that could lead to the end of the world as we know it. May God have mercy on all our souls. TMG

Legume, the image is profound and moving. Very sad so grim an ocassion was your inspiration. My deepest and sincerest heartfelt sorrows and regrets and thoughts and concerns go out to everyone touched by today's horrific deed.

Powerful image legume, the whole thing just doesn't seem real. I hope I wake up soon from this nightmare. Actually September Eleven can be written 9 11. Which is what we in the US dial to get police and fire help.

A fine, eloquent work of art, Legume.

the3dwizard put it pointedly 911 the number you call for help. So what is the phone number to god? I noticed a thread that this group seems to be populated entirely populated by gentiles. Why must we focus our attentions on religion. No matter what our religious belief or what god we worship. All our gods command that we live in peace, that we love our neighbors and that we should not commit murder. I am a child of the world who accepts all nationallities and religious beliefs. What I do not and cannot accept is an evil act of terrorism perpetrated in the pretence in the name of god. We as children of the world need to unite and share our love for those who lost their loved ones in this sad event of horror. We support all those who are citizens of America. From Australia our love goes out to all of you in this dark moment. No matter who our god is. God bless America and God bless you all.
