Quote - I've decided to be brave and start posting my renders.  I wanted to upload one to the gallery that I had posted here in the forum, but I can't figure out how to get the thumbnail small enough.  It won't go below 24.3 kb.  I've lowered the quality, nothing seems to help.  It's small 100 x 95.  I've searched the forums but can't find any info to make a small enough thumbnail. Please, I'd appreciate someone telling me how to do this.  I realize that it's something I'm not doing correctly. 

 

I use photoshop.  If you use it, on the file menu there is an option for "save for web and devices."  On it, you can specify the file size you want the end product to be and it will downgrade the quality settings until the end file size fits your specifications.  I use it for the full size picture and for my thumbs.  Works like a charm.
