Well, while the technique isn't new, it is far from perfect. Most programms generate their antialiasing differently from photoshop, using stronger antialiasing in far off regions than those closer to the viewer and so on. Photoshop cannot emulate this behaviour. The original idea for this technique was developed by the guys who did Babylon 5 because they had to cut rendertimes short. I could not find any increase in quality. Joerg
