I know you said you don't make things, and the QuickDresses wouldn't be any use to a DAZ|Studio user unless they were going to make their own conforming clothing. The QuickDress props themselves should work in D|S - it's just that the results aren't much use without further work. To be fair, the same is true in Poser, although there is less follow-up work required.

I build all my things in Poser, and only test them in Poser. However most of my existing downloads should work in DAZ|Studio. The exceptions would be dynamic clothing, and items that use Poser-specific materials (although the latter can usually be "fiddled").

A quick count reveals that six projects remaining in my cardboard box should be usable in D|S, three will need Poser, and two could be made to work in D|S after some fiddling about with materials settings. So don't be sad, there will be things that you can use... :)
