Well guys the first thing about a realistic render is a real background. Got the image from Flicker. It is called an Equirectangular image. goes on the skydome.

The next thing to do to get the realizm is to buy my car patio. Ted is a genious with materials and those are his puddles on the patio. Looks like real puddles...

The patio is only $9.95.

Comes with a few props as well, such as a camera and some lighting props as well as a cord that is controllable, a couple light poles and a couple benches, and a carrying case for lighting equipment.

Next I used the Firefly render engine with the settings you see here.

Then the last thing you need is to model a really awesome ride. :-)

Seriously the last thing is one infinite light for some shadows set to about 150 -500  on intensity, depending on the background image. Try to aim the light as if it coming from the sun, so the shadows look right.

Not really hard.

You need to play with the settings untill you get it where you want it.
