The history at Wikipedia is interesting.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poser

The Poser team used another name after leaving Metacreations, before becoming Curious Labs.  "Ghost" something.  Not Ghost Labs, pretty sure.  Umm.

Boy, I remember the panic when the forum first learned that Metacreations was selling off their 3D software.  IIRC, some who were beta testing the last software patch were going to go rogue and release the beta to us if Poser folded altogether.  An interesting night, that.

Ghost Effects.  That's the one.

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.
