I checked on that back when I had GIMP 2.6, and I am now using 2.8...

There are brushes that people have made from the Photoshop brushes that work in GIMP. I am not sure about other things. Since I only just decided to go the comic route, I hadn't bothered to find out if other things work or not.

Again, I may scrap the toon filter idea all together and just go with the pseudo realistic look. I have to figure that one out. There are things that I want to do that don't translate well in toon filters.
