Here are the steps:
1 . In the material room: look at Apply Rules section of the VSS prop
2. In the python script menu (if you're running the VSS script) click on the Designer button and then on the Add Rule Node button.
When a small box/window pop up (it will say: Add Rule (in the title bar) and Choose in the main box) select "Select other - type in". Click OK button.
Input the name of the figure that you want to change from generic to whatever character actor name you want in the "Enter Sync Zone Name " input box e.g. if it's Michael or Victoria or the name of the specific actor you're using, then type it in. (I usually put Michael* so I'm covered regardless of the version). Click OK
You're almost done! Now delete the Rule node. And you're done! You'll not be having that minor annoyance of the clothing getting SS on them.
