Multiple options here:
Make the underlying part invisible.
2, Use the morph brush in later Poser vesions
3; Take the clothing to a 3D app and correct.
If the poking is only light, you can put a displacement map on the clothing.
Set crease angle of the figure to a very low level, like 50-60 and set the crease angle of the clothing to a HIGH level like 180. Render with Smoothing ON.
Smoothed objects expand. The clothing will expand over the figure.
Remember;
Subdevided figures decrease in size They SHRINK.
Smoothed figures/objects expand and GROW in size.
