Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
I thought that might be the case. I'll give that a shot

Thanks Cedarwolf, more freebies on that site than you can shake a stick at. I found it right before I gave up and in the meantime realized how easy it is to use the morph brush for the task.

Morph brush, certainly in later versions of Poser, is very simple. Sort of depends on his pose. I'd go with that for conforming clothes. However, good conforming clothing will model in the appropriate contours in clothing for masculine models. :) There's no point in adding in the genital figure unless you intend it to be poking out of clothing and seen on camera. ;)
For fully dynamic clothing, however, you will need a "helper" prop that parents to Mike's hip in front. ahem In the usual place. StudioArtVartanian had one in Rendo Freestuff. I made my own for the same use, as I wanted a slightly different shape at one point. I also use it to model over when making conformers.
You don't want to use the *actual * genital figures for Poser cloth dynamics as they seem to cause more problems than they solve. Their normals seem to be funky and the folded mesh confounds the cloth sim in Poser.

I've not gotten into dynamic clothing as yet (other than the ones on my back, lol). The morph brush is amazingly easy to do what I wanted. Hadn't been using it before. So much to learn, and so satisfying when it works for you!

So I've got a character I'm working on using M4 as the model. I never use genitalia as my characters are, thus far, fully clothed. I'm noticing though, at certain angles that it's obvious that he's been neutered, even with the pants on. Well he's supposed to be a bad ass with whip and cigarette (anyone smoking a cigarette is certainly dangerous, right). His loss of the family jewels is causing him to lose confidence.
So the question is this. Is there an easy way to add a simple bulge in the crotch area of the pants, or will I need to get with the morph brush and get up close and personal with him? Magnets maybe?
