@Winterclaw: I'm running Poser9 with Ubuntu linux and the only thing that isn't working without IE installed is the library component. In my opinion, it was a moronic move from SM to make the software actually more platform dependent when the goal seems to be the opposite. 

It does not matter much to me personally, since there are much better 3rd party library alternatives out there.
