At the bottom of the Library pane there is a little beaded bar.  Click on it, and on the General tab uncheck "Reopen Folders" and it will be much quicker to open...

I can run Poser Pro 2010 in openSUSE using Wine 1.5-22; it uses Wine-Gecko.  Did you install the Flash plugin for FF into Wine?  Download the executable from Adobe...
