Apple excels at "obsoleting" as a tool to encourage new computer purchases.Happened with my G3- no OSX beyond 10.2 if it did not have a built in USB board. Found a way around that and went up to 10.4 (worked perfectly well after running a script that fooled the installer) before I bought a G5 Power Mac-which they obsoleted. Then I bought a used Intel Mac (quad Xeon) Pro-and now they will NOT sell 10.8 (download only)-although it evidently works beautifully.

Should I find the funds to buy a 2013 Mac-I have no doubt that in 3 years they will NOT sell me a copy of OS11.5-even though it will likely work fine- and PoserPro2016 will require OSX 11.5
