You can certainly create adventure games, strategy games, puzzle games with Poser. "Shooters" have a high adrenaline factor because of their speed, however, and Poser isn't suited to this. Sideways "scrollers" similar to Mario might be possible, again depending upon whether you are using speed as an element of game play. If you want to do a first person dungeon game using Poser, may I suggest turn-based, and spending more time creating plot and puzzles. This way the player will have other challenges and rewards than mere speed and the kill. Since Poser is a wonderful animation tool, you'll also be able to show your characters doing cool feats.
