Yeah, um, guys, the Mp3 thing was a metaphor...a bit of shorthand.

I'm glad someone said it won't/can't happen, because that's a sure-fire way to make it manifest.

I imagine a  real-time/software hybrid render.  The whole process will be reimagined from the root up, and it will be fast.
