Quote - Ok. A more relavent site than amazon would be turbosquid. Much, much brighter than the new rendo scheme and still works good for them. 

But whatever. I don't see a problem with it, except the blue links on smoke blue background. Everyone has an opinion.

What happened to their bi-annual theme design contest they used to do anyway? Is this the more cost-efficient route?

I dare say that one cannot compare what's going on between Turbosquid and Renderosity.  The Turbosquid background is a very subdued greyish blue, while the Renderosity background is a blue-green.  And although they do use a white background for their graphic elements, the site as a whole is tight, elegant.  The screenshots below illustrate what I am talking about.
