I think there is an International ISO norm that says what has to go in a header, and what has to go in a footer.

But never-ever put doubles or triples on a single page.

It is a waist of usable space, site pollution, and shows very bad housekeeping.

For a home page, most could live with a bit of pollution, why not, everybody has to live, but on a forum page?

An absolute NO-NO.
