Have you customised the materials in DS? if not there's no real point in saving a DS version as it won't be any better than the Poser version (just don't use external binary morph targets). If you have there are several options - save as a DS asset, so the DS and Poser versions are separate, is one but you could also save materials settings for the prop in DS (and if you put them in RuntimeLibrariesMaterialsYourfolder along with the matching, and identically named, MC6 file DS 4 will apply them when the Poser files are double-clicked; if you want to include Ds3 support then you need to use the pose library for the mat files, and use .dsa as the save format) and it's fairly simple to hack a script preset (File>Save as>Deprecated) so that it can be paired with the actual pp2 and apply the DS materials after the prop is loaded (there's a thread on this at the old DAZ forums, and Valandar's recent freebies mostly use the equivalent technique).
