I'm not following your question. Here's my experience. I have a bunch of Poser external runtimes on a USB drive. (Not a thumb drive, a big spinning disk, but externally mounted in its own box. It's about 1 terabyte and cost $99 a few years ago. They are cheaper now. )
I unplugged that from the PC.
I plugged it into my Mac.
Done.
Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
