To give an idea of where this is heading and this sort of momentum this rendering technology is getting from Hollywood - see 2hrs 36mins into this clip from the NVidia conference this week. It shows the CEO of Otoy (owner of OctaneRender) using a 112 GPU render farm accessed from the 3ds max Octane plugin, rendering a scene from the Transformers movie.Pauil
