Subject: Getting Poser updates? How again? lol

Sorry probably dumb question but how the hell am I supposed to get the updates for Poser pro2012? I try through poser but when I get to the site the damned thing just gives me a page that says error nothing in your cart...... The page with the link for the update does not even have an option to put anything in your cart.

Good question.  And some times it won't recognize the serial numbers.

Sorry about the reply delay, Just got home. That is actually the link I was talking about, I go to that page and click the button for the PP2012 update and I get this error...

The following error has occured. Please try again.
There are no items in your cart.  Which is VERY annoying.

I even threw something in my cart to check to see if it would give me the update then and still nothing. Only the thing I threw in the cart is there along with the download plan thing. This is getting very frustrating. I can understand not wanting to let people who don't have legit copies of poser get the updates but damn.

I just tried to get the Update for Poser Pro 2012 from my office pc (no installation of poser here...). I get the same message as you, but I get also a popup where I can type my serial number in (the error message is dark in the background underneath). Would I type my serial number, I would be able to go on for the update (have done that before already, so I don't go further at this point of the test...).

If you don't see the popup that asks for your serial number, do you perhaps have a popup blocker active?

Thanks for reminding me, Blocker was right I have a script killr that stops popups and all that, it worked after I allowed content parasite. I forget I have that thing running now and then lol.

One question though  an upgrade serial number for an update? Seems kinda silly to me.

Now all I have to do is figure out how the hell to get my V4 morphs to work in PP2012 lol.

Now, granted, I bought Poser thru CP, but I've not had any problems downloading updates (or my serial not working).j

My problem was that my noscript/ popup blocker was killing the window keeping me from proceeding where I should have been able to. I had to reinstall PP2012 but it all seems to work now.

When I had that error I had to log into CP first, then no problems.
