Checking separate process shouldn't change anything in the Poser recovery after render.  I haven't seen that on an XP OS.

Question: Is Poser installed in Programs Files folder of Win7?  If so, with limited UAC, Win7 might be slowing the process down by analyzing the rendering.  But because there is no other system information, I am only guessing.
