Quote - figures tend to have multiple material zones and they can get abit iffy to clothify if you dont shit it to a prop first.
I take it you don't have a high opinion of props...

The Wisdom of bagginsbill:
"Oh - the manual says that? I have never read the manual - this must be why."Export the .obj file of the coat, then re-import it back into poser. It's now a prop. Since you didn't make any changes to the .obj file, you should be able to reapply the materials to it. Then you can take that back into the cloth room and run your sim.
If I had a nickle for ever time a woman told me to get lost, I could buy Manhattan.
There's also an issue that many (most?) clothing figures will not clothify satisfactorily due to the way they're constructed. To be used as a dynamic cloth an object must be a single mesh (which is why most dynamic cloth is rather plain/ boring), while clothing figures often have details just kinda "tacked on" to the mesh that will just fall off once ya clothify the object, or even entire sections not properly welded.
By all means go ahead & try, but if/ when this happens... now ya know why it did.
WARNING!
This user has been known to swear. A LOT!

That's what the constraint buttons are for in the Cloth Room.

Hi
I am trying to Clothify the Daz M2 Trench coat but I am having issues when I click the Clothify button.
The Coat is not listed even though it is selected?
